By creating an account or using JustanIdea!, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application. We will notify you of material changes in-app and ask you to re-accept the updated terms; see Section 10.
JustanIdea! lets you capture an idea with a photo, title, description, and 1-4 categories, then post it to a public feed where other users can browse, search, filter by category, like, bookmark, share externally, add an execution suggestion, or contact you about your idea. You can also open an AI chatbot per-idea for implementation suggestions. You are responsible for the content you post and for any interactions you have with other users on the platform.
You retain ownership of the ideas, photos, titles, descriptions, and execution suggestions you post. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content within the application and for the purpose of operating the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account (see Section 8). We do not license your content to third parties outside of operating JustanIdea!
You may not post illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or harassing content; impersonate others; spam; post content that infringes others' intellectual property; or attempt to circumvent access limits, reporting flows, or security measures. You may not scrape or bulk-download content from the app. If you see content you believe violates these rules, use the reporting flow on each idea (spam, inappropriate, IP concern, other). See Section 7 for how we act on reports.
Guest users can browse up to a limited number of ideas before being prompted to create an account. Registered free users get a larger browsing quota and one AI chatbot request per account. AI chatbot requests send the idea's photo, title, and description to a third-party AI provider that generates implementation suggestions. Do not include information in a posted idea that you consider confidential, personally sensitive, or otherwise unfit for public exchange with an AI provider. Paid tiers with expanded access are not available in this release; any future paid tier will be governed by separate terms at the time of purchase.
You may optionally attach your current city to an idea when posting, by toggling "Add location" in the post form. Location attachment is strictly opt-in -- we rely on your explicit toggle consent as the lawful basis for processing under GDPR. When enabled, your device determines the nearest city using on-device reverse-geocoding (no third-party geocoder receives your coordinates); we store only the city name and a rounded city-level centroid on the server. Your precise device location is never stored or transmitted. City information is visible only to other signed-in users who view your idea or use the Near-me filter to find ideas near them; signed-out visitors see no location data. You can remove the city from any of your posts at any time from the idea detail screen. Turning off the post-time location toggle stops any further attachment immediately; existing attachments remain until you remove them. We do not sell or share your location data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
We operate a notice-and-action mechanism: any user can submit a report against an idea using the in-app reporting flow with a pre-defined reason (spam, inappropriate, IP concern, or other). Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, who may hide the content from the public feed or take other action. Repeated or severe violations may result in an account ban, which blocks sign-in and hides your posted ideas from other users. If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may contact us at faabnoov@gmail.com to appeal; we aim to review appeals within a reasonable time.
You can delete your account at any time from the profile settings. Account deletion cascades: we remove your profile, posted ideas, likes, bookmarks, execution suggestions, contact form submissions, push notification tokens, and uploaded photos from our storage. This action is irreversible. We may retain the minimum information required by law (for example, for tax, fraud, or abuse-prevention purposes) and anonymised usage metrics.
The application is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of ideas posted by users, of AI chatbot output, or of any content or recommendations within the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any matter that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we bump the version and prompt you to re-accept on next launch via an in-app modal; continued use after acceptance constitutes agreement to the new Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland; exclusive place of jurisdiction, to the extent legally permissible, is the competent court in Switzerland.
